At just 16, Mia Elizabeth Llama is charting her own course as a passionate coxswain for the Orlando Area Rowing Society. She discovered rowing in 7th grade and was immediately drawn to the sport’s competitiveness, uniqueness, and the challenge it brings both mentally and physically. Wanting to share her love for rowing and modeling in a meaningful way, Mia created an Instagram blog to merge both worlds highlighting the strength, skill, and excitement behind the sport while inspiring others her age to give it a try.

Her dedication and authentic storytelling caught the attention of Strokeside, the official partner of USRowing, leading to the exciting opportunity for Mia to model national rowing apparel and showcase the sport she loves. During the 2025 Youth National Championship, one of her coxswain videos went viral, giving the world a thrilling, first-hand look at what it takes to lead a crew and cross the finish line with heart and grit. Blending her passion for rowing, modeling, and storytelling, Mia hopes to inspire the next generation to discover the sport and chase their dreams.
