Ruby Bogonovich is a 19-year-old collegiate rower and the President of Long Beach State Women’s Beach Crew.

Originally from San Jose, CA, she discovered rowing four years ago—and it quickly became the sport that reshaped her entire life.

Before stepping into a boat, Ruby spent 15 years as a dancer and also competed in pole vault, building the discipline, body awareness, and athletic versatility that now fuel her success on the water. What started as a new challenge soon grew into a passion that defines her drive, her leadership, and her purpose.

Ruby is deeply committed to sharing the athlete experience and showing the world the strength, unity, and beauty behind collegiate rowing. As President, she works to cultivate a team environment where every athlete feels supported, motivated, and connected to a meaningful community.

Looking ahead, Ruby is excited to partner with Rowfluencers—collaborating with brands that reflect the energy of rowing and helping open doors for the next generation of rowers.
