Athlete

Todd has been involved in the sport of rowing for more than 30 years as both an athlete and a coach. He began rowing as a freshman at the University at Buffalo, where he later served as Team Captain during his senior year. When not rowing, Todd earned both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in Biochemistry. Todd’s international racing achievements include a 7th-place finish in the PR3 Mixed Double Sculls at the 2024 Paris Paralympics. He won a silver medal in the same event at the 2023 World Rowing Championships in Belgrade, Serbia, and placed 5th at the 2022 World Rowing Championships in Prague, Czech Republic. He served as the Alternate for the 2021 Tokyo Paralympic Games and finished 6th in the PR3 Men’s Pair at the 2019 World Rowing Championships in Linz, Austria. Todd also captured a gold medal in the PR3 Mixed Four at the 2019 World Rowing Cup II in Poznań, Poland. In 2024, he was named the USRowing Para Male Athlete of the Year. Todd lives in Portland, Oregon with his wife, Heather, and their dog, Hank. When he’s not rowing, drinking good coffee, riding bikes, and watching movies, his favorite is The Big Lebowski .
